The North Shore Blanketed with Snow
Over the last week, the North Shore has received several nice snowfalls. Current snow depth in the woods is reported up to four feet, with new snow fall reports ranging from less than ten inches to over two feet.
The Upper Gunflint Ski Trails, with 7" of new snow, are 90% open and excellent for classic skiing and skating. Also on the Gunflint, Pincushion received 29" of new snow during the last week.
Near the lake, Cascade State Park reports 20" in the last 72 hours, and Lutsen Mountains with 24" in the last week.
